I selected this photo because of the shallow depth of field. Compositionally, there is good use of triangles because of the petals on the flower. Also there is good focus shown by the details on the leaves and flower. To take this photo I had the camera set on a fast shutter speed and a shallow depth of field.

Looking at this photo, the compositional element that is most apparent is the leading line down the row of chairs. There is also a shallow depth of field seen with the focus on the first seat. When I edited this photo, I adjusted the hue to make the seats more blue. The camera was set to a fast shutter speed.

This photo was taken for the line and shape assignment. What I like about this photo is the lines of the old merry-go-round. My point of view was from above. The photo follows leading lines because of the poles. The depth of field is a large depth of field. The ISO was set to 800 and the White Balance was on sunny.

This photo was taken for the motion assignment. What I like about this photo is the sharpness of some of the cards, but some are also blurred. My point of view was on the side of the cards. The photo follows the rule of thirds because the cards are in the middle of the photo. This photo has a large depth of field. The ISO was set to 800 and the White Balance was on auto.
