Approximately what shutter speed did you use to purposely blur action?
Shutter speed: 1/8
What ISO and WB settings did you use? (If you were on a phone camera, make a logical guess)
ISO: 800
WB: cloudy
What motion, or part of the image shows blur? (Describe).
The people/animals in the photos create blur.
What was your distance, and point of view for the photo?
The photos are all taken relatively close, and in front of the action.
Describe any compositional elements (tools) that are present in or that strengthen the photo.(rule of thirds, positive and negative space, line, shape, pattern, texture, strong colors, repetition, contrast...)
The photos have strong colors, and rule of thirds.

Approximately what shutter speed did you use to freeze action?
Shutter speed: 1/250
What ISO and WB settings did you use?(If you were on a phone camera, make a logical guess)
ISO: 800
WB: Cloudy
What action did you freeze? (Describe).
I froze someone shuffling and dropping playing cards, rolling dice, throwing ping pong balls, and hitting ping pong balls.
What was your distance, and point of view for the photo?
The photos taken with ping pong balls are from far away taken in front of the action. Whereas the pictures of the cards and dice were taken from up close and from a higher or lower point of view.
Describe any compositional elements (tools) that are present in or that strengthen the photo.(rule of thirds, positive and negative space, line, shape, pattern, texture, strong colors, repetition, contrast...)
Some photos show strong contrast (2nd photo) or rule of thirds (1st photo).

Select one of your images that show a shallow depth of field.
What f-stop did you have your camera set to create a shallow depth of field?
The F-stop was 4.2
What ISO and WB settings did you use?
The ISO was 1600 and the WB was auto
Discuss one of your images that show a large depth of field.
What f-stop did you have your camera set to create a large depth of field?
The F-stop was 6.3
What ISO and WB settings did you use?
The ISO was 100 and the WB was auto
Which photo is better? Why?
The shallow depth of field photo was better because it had a better perspective and i liked that it didn't focus on everything in the photo.
Why would you want to use a shallow depth of field?
Shallow depth of field is better when taking a photo that has one main focus.
When/in what situation would a large depth of field be better?
A large depth of field photo would be best when taking photos of a landscape or a wide-range photo.
